Zoom theater with Liars and Believers: Beyond a Winter’s Day

I’ve been appearing as the musical guest for select shows of Beyond a Winter’s Day, a work of all-ages Zoom theater crafted by my pals over at Liars and Believers. Next up: I’ll be on for the Sunday, February 28 show at 4pm EST, and possibly will sneak in for some dates in March as well!

The show itself features puppetry and storytelling performed by my pals Rachel Wiese, Becca Lehrhoff, Jesse Garlick, and Glen Moore. I pop in to perform a song—and in keeping with the tender, cozy vibe of the show, I’ve dusted off an arrangement I wrote for “Tis winter now, the fallen snow,” poetry by Samuel Longfellow, melody traditional. I originally wrote this vocal arrangement for Meg Taintor’s I Have Seen Horizons, for Opera House Arts in Maine, and it’s been such a pleasure to get to sing it again!

As this strange and isolating Pandemic Winter descends, join Liars & Believers for a live online performance of  story & music, food & drink, mask & puppet, shadow & light.  Beyond a Winter’s Day is a live theatre experience that finds hope and warmth in the moment we share together.  A 60 minute family event, live on Zoom.
