April 2: Sound Shadows + Rosalie Irish Norris + Callie Chapman + Madeleine Jubilee Saito at The Dance Complex

This dance-focused digital listening party for the Sound Shadows EP took place Friday, April 2. The evening included digital dance shorts from Callie Chapman and Rosalie Irish Norris, and the mesmerizing experience of watching Madeleine Jubilee Saito draw live on screen, creating an original work of art inspired by our EP.

We were delighted to be hosted in The Dance Complex’s digital spaces.

Knitting together dance and music, visual imagery and song, light and shadow, Sound Shadows draws details into relief and shows the unseen. A collaborative creation of Veronica Barron (theater artist, puppeteer, storyteller, singer), Julia Friend (banjo player, singer, visual artist), and Rebecca McGowan (Irish and percussive dancer).
