When Puppet Showplace, one of my artistic homes, announced their first online puppet slam, I found myself asking:

“If we can’t have the special and important experience of gathering in person…what CAN I do in a virtual slam that I CAN’T do in person at the theater?”

The result is a short new work, “Wanting,” which I debuted at the slam on May 16, 2020 using my windows as shadow screens, shot from outside looking in at my kitchen.
